Silly Saints: Children pre-school through 6th grade are treated to a Bible lesson, craft, snacks, and games, the first Saturday of the month, 1:30 - 3:00 PM, from August through May, following the format of Vacation Bible School. Special guests are featured and some field trips are taken to locations a short distance from the church. Parents are welcome to remain and take part.

Soup & Sandwich for the Soul: a program of free soup, planned with other churches in Hollidaysburg. St. John's also features a sandwich. St. John's will host this program in January 2007 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The January dates are the 6th, the 13th, and the 20th. Donations are accepted. Church members participate by donating desserts, soup, and their time - waiting tables and as kitchen help. It is an "all-church" program with the donated funds going toward missions or other church needs.

Stamp Ministry: Canceled stamps are saved and contributed by members of the church throughout the year. Stamps are prepared, boxed, and mailed by two dedicated volunteers who mail approximately four (4) pounds of stamps at one time to the Alliance Women Stamp Ministry in Fort Myers, Florida. They process the stamps to be sold, with the funds being used to prepare, translate, and distribute Sunday School curriculum through the Latin American Sunday School Curriculum Project.

Missionary to Ecuador - Chaz Dull: We are happy to help sponsor Chaz Dull, missionary in Riobamba, Ecuador. He arrived in Riobamba on July 13, 2005 and his ministry began immediately. He leads the Bible study (in Spanish) on Wednesday afternoons and attends those conducted by his co-worker to help further his language learning and develop relationships with the nationals. Chaz and his family are from the Clarks Summit area of Pennsylvania. His sponsoring agency is Biblical Ministries Worldwide of Lawrenceville, Georgia, to which St. John's has pledged support for four years.
